PhamilyDev had a blast at Drupalcon Denver 2012. Three Phamily members attended the conference while everyone else stayed home to keep the operation running smoothly. A variety of the industry's top Drupalites filled the week of Drupalcon Denver this March.

After making the drive from the airport to the conference in northern Colorado's mild climate, the crew visited a number of conference sessions throughout the week. Our top five favorites were:

The mornings that week got kicked off by running to Pablo's Coffee to buy a Toddy for each of the members of the team. In case you haven't heard of a Toddy, it is a very strong, cold brewed coffee. Check it out.

Another handy local shop is Mr. Lucky's Sandwiches, a must-try classic sandwich shop in the Denver area, conveniently located across the street from Pablo's. The sandwiches are great, but don't be late -- it is only open each day until the daily fresh-baked bread runs out.

Outside of the conference itself, the gang bunkered down in its home away from home. The Chalet de Phamily, the executive suite at Burnsley All Suite Hotel, got the Phamily Stamp of Approval, not only as a spot to regroup, relax, and refuel, but also as the site of the unofficial After After Party for Drupalcon 2012. When the official After Party was finished, those hardy Drupal soldiers who weren't ready to end the campaign and go home found it a welcome place to continue discussion:

The first day of spring, on the twenty-first of March, marked the second annual Phamily Dinner. Because the company offices are virtual, Phamily members rarely meet each other in person. The Phamily Dinner occurs at Drupalcon, where the gang meets to eat, drink, and be merry. This year's Phamily Dinner took place at Charlie Brown's, a bar and grill venue across the street from the hotel that got high marks from a previous visit by Matthew and Cody.
